Subject: thoughts from Russia
Hello, agf!
First of all,Thank you so much for your work.
I've heard only Westernization Completed yet(it is one of
my favourites now) but planning to get more.
I think your words have a special meaning in the country i live
in(Russia).The process of westernization here is heading forward and
seems to be unturnable.And most of the people(70%) are welcoming
it or at least dont want anything to hold it down. Except for the elder
ones(used to live in "happy" far communist past) and some other people(i guess
like me.people who see the danger the westernization may
cause to our country's traditions and mentality of our people).
Don't know much about the situation in GDR,but the things you
speak of: burst of freedom, drugs that "came down the Wall", no more
moral restrictions - seem to be very close to what happened to our
country in the last 15 years(since we started democracy).
i dont expect any responce(your responce lies in your
songs where i discover something new everytime i listen them -
it's mostly because of my english understanding problems).
just glad to share thoughts.
