Turn down the screen light
I'm knitting a scarf with japanese noro wool
Shinano for my brother
Finding I'm needing to write
Finding the listening white screen
I hear 'explode' and wonder
At sounds and listen to my needles click
With beats and fingers tapping now as
I type these these these it's
Especially nice to be here sometimes
Then it's like Penderecki and we come
Back to it all like waking up to forgotten dead
But still keeping listening and
Remember in you
A stronger part
To turn down the screen light and wait
I make the sweet tea and forget the wine
